This movie is a 73-minute video by JHS of a 2010 presentation called The 100 Year History of Sealand on Head Harbor by Dan Davis. Dan is the current President of Beals Historical Society, local historian and educator, and a Beals Selectman. 

When the presentation was given by Dan in 2010, there was standing room only in the JHS Meeting Room. From the first ten families that lived in the Sealand community on Head Harbor Island in the mid-1800s, to the last families that floated their houses to the mainland in the 1930s, Dan covers all the community life, including farming, fishing, quarrying, lobstering, schools, chapel, post office, and the Sea Coast Mission. It ends with a photo album of many Sealand people, and a tour of what it looks like now.
